The laboratory manager and technician is responsible for ordering and maintaining supplies, assisting other research personnel, including undergraduate students, and conducting independent research projects. Specifically, the candidate will have extensive experience with nematode genetics, media making, minor equipment repairs, and be able to construct transgenic animal experiments using microinjection and DNA micro bombardment techniques. In addition, the candidate should also have extensive laboratory experience in genetics and molecular biology. The position also involves some training of students.

This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC).
The anticipated hiring range: $20/hr - $22/hr
Full Pay range: $20/hr - $22/hr
Time Base: Full-Time
